Up for sale is a Royal 3000 Zenith Transoceanic Multi-Band Transistor Radio. This radio covers the standard AM, FM, and several Shortwave listening Bands.
The condition of this radio, given its age, is good. Please look at all images to evaluate the cosmetic condition for yourself. It has been tested and receives on all bands. Antenna, Dial lamps, and the all the controls function OK except the AFC-FM slide switch which appears inoperative. Reception on AM was excellent and many stations were received on Shortwave given the right time of day. FM reception and SW reception requires the full extension of the built-in antenna rod within the handle. This radio requires (9)D cells (not included) for portable operation. There is no external power supply included with this radio. If you do decide to buy one, it MUST have a negative (-) center tip for 12 volt operation. The radio has been carefully bubble wrapped and its box is filled with plenty of peanuts for a safe transit to the new owner's U.S. ONLY address.
