I have taken
12
photos from every angle.
Any white spots on case are not tears, but are spots of what might be paint that I have not tried to remove.
This radio is in great cosmetic condition.
There are 3 minor items.
1)
The dial light doesn't work.
2)
There are a couple of very minor scratches to the metal.
3)
The side paper (?) panel has come unglued - but is completely intact.
See 9th photo.
Now the good:
No
tears or rips to the case.
The antennae is perfectly straight, extends fully and folds flat.
All controls / knobs work smoothly.
Band selector clicks when changing bands.
Battery compartment is super clean - perhaps never used.
Power cord is in excellent condition
Reception:
AM & FM are crystal clear with good volume.
I can pick up 1 or 2 channels on one of the bands.
I can only hear static on the other bands. Don't know if it needs an additional antennae or I just don't know what I'm doing.
Note:
This was found at an estate sale. I have no knowledge concerning these radios and
I believe it would become perfectly functional in the hands of someone who has such knowledge
However since I don't know that with certainty, I am listing this as "FOR PARTS ONLY".
