Victorian Sterling Silver & Crystal Glass Pair of Large Scent Bottles William Corke
of prolonged square form, Victorian sterling silver & cut crystal pair of large scent bottles, circa 1892 by William Corke, each scent bottle crafted from thick crystal glass with cut glass spreading star like design, bottle's top and bottom decorated with reticulated silver frames, with raised floral & scroll-work motifs, with further four sections of rope style criss-cross design. Each hinged cover ornamented with Roman General greeting the women & children. One glass stopper is not original, silver frames are highly delicate & fragile, bottom silver inserts show some previous work/repair. Overall each article is in very good condition, no knowledge if any of the silver elements are missing. Glass is in very good condition. For international or domestic mailing purposes the sea salt can be removed since it causes high weight to total package.
