Scottish Bagpipe Player Thimble Holder pewter thistle old sewing item vintage

This is a vintage Scottish Bagpipe Player and pewter Scotland Thimble / Thimble
holder.
Both pieces are unmarked and I'm not sure what metal they're made of, possibly pewter
thimble and painted white metal stand
.
The base of the
holder measures 2 1/8" by 1 1/4" and  1 3/4" tall.
Both items are in nice vintage condition no damage or holes. Please see
photographs .
This was part of a very large collection We are currently beginning to sell. Each of the original owners pieces we tagged as to when they became part of her collection This was purchased in April 1988 in Bermuda .
The collection of this 92 year old woman has thousands of thimbles and sewing related items..
