DESCRIPTION: Antique pair of English sterling silver candlesticks in the Adams style with Ram's heads, acanthus, floral swags & compotes raised embossed decorations by silversmith Charles Boyton. SIZE: 8 1/4"H, bases 3 5/8"W, both are weighted one weighs 266 grams the other weighs 274 grams. CONDITION: Very good, no breaks, no chips, no monograms, some small light dings around the bottom base edges, no repairs. MARKINGS: Hallmarks- CB, Lion, Leopard Head, date mark for 1901, stamped on bottom edge of both bases. Both bobeches are unmarked not tested for silver look silver but not sure, both bobeches are the same & fit fine not loose with old polish remnants inside (been on candlesticks a long time).
