Description

~ Gorgeous Sterling Silver Edwardian Coffeepot in excellent condition  ~
~ Made by Martin Hall & Company and assayed in Sheffield in 1907 During the Reign of Edward VII  ~
This lovely early 20th Century hand-hammered Art Nouveau coffeepot is of circular sell-shaped Form,
has it's original wooden handle and finial and weighs 387 grams all in.
One of the finest, almost whimsical, coffeepots we have seen over the years, it has a hidden hinge
to a well fitting lid and measures 7" H x 6 1/4" W (across handle and spout) x 4 1/4" base diameter.
We have used it and it pours very well - somehow our coffee tasted better out of it too.
This coffeepot has the following hallmarks -
Makers' Mark 'RM over EH' for
Martin Hall & Company (on lid also)
Crown Town Mark for Sheffield
Lion Passant
(on lid also)
Date Letter 'p' for 1907 Sheffield
There are no engravings on this coffee pot.
