This high quality, highly detailed, sailboat model is brand new, fully assembled and ready for display (not a kit). All that is required is that the mast be raised. A moderate skill level is required to raise the mast and adjust the rigging. This Sailboat Yacht Model was specially designed & built by the plank on bulkhead method (joining multiple small pieces of wood like Rosewood, Mahogany and Teak together on the hull). The Sailboat Model is built and painted exactly to scale as the original Pen Duick was with many details. The task required skillful craftsmen hundreds of hours to accomplish. The Pen Duick model sailboat has been coated with many coats of varnish to achieve a mirror finish. Included is a brass name plate.
