crafted, Primitive, Hand-made
Native American Painted Deerskin Snare Drum.
I am unsure of tribal affiliation, or period of manufacture.
Antique.
Obtained from an estate sale in Scottsdale Arizona about 15 years ago.
The drum has been well-used, and cared-for, with signs of wear from use at center drum area on one side, and stitched repair on opposite side.  The drum has some normal expected signs of paint and design loss on both side, consistent with age and use, and is in
Good Solid Condition,
able to produce sound, although best suited as a collectors item, given the age and historical significance.
Measures 8.5" across by 2.25" tall
(as shown).
