    Hello Ebay Antique Lovers! I am a 20
    + year ebay seller
    specializing in vintage jewelry, antique Sterling Silver items, and other old treasures. I only pick the very best pieces for my ebay customers so please view my other listings.
    THIS LISTING IS FOR...this wonderful, antique, Cooper Bros. and Sons, English Sterling Silver, Horse Racing, Trophy Cup.   I think this may be a salesman sample or a replica trophy given to other members of the Horse Racing team that won the race.  It reads "Cameronian Challenge Cup - Replica - Gentlemen - Presented by Messrs. Buckland, Peel & Ross - 1934".  This piece is a mystery to me but I have seen in boat racing sometimes the captain gets a large trophy cup and the crew members get smaller replicas.  If you know about this piece I'd love to get a message from you as I am always trying to learn NEW things about OLD things.
    Trophy cup is hallmarked with the maker's mark for Cooper Bros. & Sons out of Sheffield, England.  It was made in 1908 which is shown by the Sheffield Letter Date Mark.  Little cup also has an English registry number on the underside. It is 606564 (1912-1913) if I am reading it right. It is hard to see and the last number is not impressed very well.  Also impressed with "S2199".  Cup measure 2.5 inches tall and 2.75 inches across.  It weighs 96.9 grams.  As usual, I show lots of photos for you so please view all photos for a true indication of the exact condition of this antique beauty.
