Vintage Fountain Pen & Pencil Set

with Vintage Fountain Pens.  I know just enough to BUY THEM when I come across them!!
Description:
For Sale is a
Vintage
SHEAFFER'S "New SNORKEL PEN"
& Pencil Set in Original Hard Case
w/Instruction Papers and Original Retail Store Decal
as well.  Both instruments are
Sheaffer Color Pastel Blue (Aqua).
I got this set directly from the original owner who told me it was never used.  It appears that is possible.  It dates from
1952-55
I believe and is referred to as the
"White Dot" Model.
It has a Size Medium M-4 Nib.   According to PenHero website this one seems to be known as
"The Statesman".
If so, it has a Triumph Palladium-Silver Alloy Nib.  Some are hallmarked "PdAg".
Mine is not though.
So, I can't say with 100% certainty what my Nib is made of
.   I'm simply going from that website.   I saw others that actually said "Palladium ......." on Nib.   Also a plastic cap and barrel, gold-filled clip and 3/8" wide gold-filled cap band.   You'll notice this one was bought at
"Burkhardt Jewelers"
in Asbury Park, New Jersey.  That business's Gold Decal is on the inside lid of case as well as the outside too.
I am sure my photos will best further describe this item.
Condition:
On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidently grade this set's overall condition to be a
solid 8

Overall and Especially for being 55+ Years Old, this Sheaffer Pen & Pencil Set in Original Case is in
Excellent Original
Condition.
Everything is No Less than 90% Immaculate
.  I was indeed told it was never used.  Frankly, I don't know how to prove that but am willing to try if someone wants to tell me what to do.  The exterior of the case does have some minor "shelf" wear from being in storage.  The satin on the inside has some pencil marks where the pencil came into contact with it.  As for the Fountain Pen, it is untested of course but it appears totally mint to my inexperienced eyes.  There is even a paper band still around the Nib which I think would've fallen off if it was used before (photo#9).  The pencil retracts the lead problem free and has zero physical defects.  My photos are an accurate depiction of this item's
