Yoga with Weights - 25 Minute Yoga Fitness Class - Five Parks Yoga

This short and sweet yoga fitness class includes work with weights and a block, but both props are optional.

After a brief breathing exercise, begin your practice with seated bicep curls and kneeling shoulder presses. Continue to build heat in your body with high plank pose, followed by 3 legged dog ab crunches and wide armed push-ups.

You will make your way to standing with your weights and continue to work your arms with wide arm bicep curls, tricep presses.

Build strength in your legs and core with chair pose and chair pose twists with weights.

Return to plank with toe taps before you make your way into standing yoga postures with your weights (optional). Standing balancing postures include crescent lunge, airplane, warrior, and standing squat with arm work.

Complete this short workout with reclined core work - with a block. Twists and leg lifts precede bridge work for your legs and glutes and lower back.

Complete your practice with reclined stretches - pigeon, happy baby, and Savasana.
